兼六園de観光協会のガイドツアー [旅行]
石川県と言えば日本三名園の一つの兼六園はあまりにも有名ですが、私は石川県に行くのは今回が初めてだったので勿論、兼六園にも行ったことがありませんでした。
なので事前にネットから観光協会主催の『兼六園めぐりガイドツアー』500円を申し込んでおきました。
この日はGWと言う事で日本人の観光客の方々でいっぱいに加え外国人の方々もいっぱいおられたので芋の子を洗うような混雑だったのであまり綺麗な写真が撮れませんでした。
兼六園の顔とも言えるパンフレットなどに使われている霞ヶ池が見れる場所に到着すると、兼六園に住み着いている感じのサギがいました。
実は私は全く鳥の種類などは解らなかったのですが、くまらさまのブログを拝見ていて特徴の強い鳥に関してだけは解るようになっていました。
『水道の遺構』です。8Km遠方から辰巳用水を引いて池に水を導き、ここから逆サイフォンの原理で金沢城二の丸へ導かれた水道の遺構と言う事です。
『徽軫灯籠(ことじとうろう)』と虹橋は、琴の糸を支える琴柱の形をしていることから徽軫灯籠と呼ばれており、兼六園を象徴している二本脚の灯籠とも言えます。下の写真は『星のリゾート界 加賀』の徽軫灯籠です。この横には兼六園の虹橋のように同じような曲線の橋を渡って新館へと行きました。
『霞ヶ池の蓬莱島』は亀に見立てて作られておりピンクの○の部分が亀の頭になっています。老長寿を表しており、亀の甲の形をしているので別名は亀甲島とも言うとの事です。
『唐崎松』は兼六園の中で最も枝ぶりが見事な松で全体で鶴を表しており霞ヶ池まで伸びています。ここで鶴亀と縁起の良い形となります。この松の雪吊りは冬の風物詩みたいで写真などでよく見ますね。
『亀甲橋』は全て亀の形をした石で造られた橋です。凄い拘りですね。
『七福神山』は12代藩主前田斉広の隠居所(竹沢御殿)から眺める為に造られた庭園です。このギリギリまでお屋敷があったそうです。○の部分に七福神に見立てた自然の7つの石を配してあることからこの名前が付いたとの事です。
『明治記念之標』です。土台は石だけで積んでおり何年かに一度は積み直しているみたいで、ピンクの○には蛇の形の石。青い○には蛙の形の石と、これも縁起が良い記念之標ですね。
これも兼六園の有名な『根上松』。小さな松を高い盛土で植え大きくなるにつれ徐々に土を除き根を表した技法で長い年月をかけて造り上げているみたいです。
『栄螺山(さざえやま)』13代藩主斉泰が三度にわたって霞ヶ池を掘り広げた時に出た土を利用して築いた山で高さは9mで螺旋状にぐるぐると上って行く坂道が巻貝の殻のようなので栄螺山と名付けられたようです。
『黄門橋』は、長さ6mあり切石橋としては兼六園の中で最も長いらしく、横から見ると2枚重ねたように見えますが実際は一枚石で出来ています。
日本最古の『噴水』。文久元年(1861年)に造られた日本最古と言われる噴水で、金沢城内の二ノ丸に水を引くため試作されたものと伝えられています。噴水より高い位置にある霞ヶ池を水源としており池の水面との高低差を利用した自然の水圧で吹き上がっています。造られた文久元年(1861年)から一度も噴水が止まった事がないらしいです。これって凄いですね。
駆け足での観光の後は予約のランチが控えていたので、ゆっくりと見ることは出来ませんでしたが、色んな意味で江戸時代の技術レベルの高さと拘りに驚かされました。次回があればもっと人の少ない時にゆっくりと来たいと思いました。行って良かったです。

☆兼六園は気候のいい時と～雪が降っている時に何度か行ったことがあるのですが、やはり雪が積もった時のほうが印象深いです(^_-)-☆
